Welcome to the fourth installment of our wedding week series! Last week, we talked all about our romantic ceremony and the week before that was all about our look on the big day. I have a super exciting announcement for West 5th and it’s something I have been excited to share for a long time: our wedding! If you’ve done some reading, you’ll notice I touch on small parts of our wedding planning process and have written some wedding how to’s such as this and this, but for the first time ever I’ll be featuring our full wedding on the blog for an entire two weeks!
Has anyone else noticed that the mason jar “craze” never really came to an end? I know it’s hard to let go of Summer, I’ll be the first to say how much I love the sunshine, the long nights and the warm breeze. However, I know for me that Fall plays a close second to Summer because it brings a lot of great things to the table such as leaves scattered on the ground, cozy sweaters and everything pumpkin spice which is always a huge plus.
Can you believe we’re talking about fall already? It’s officially fall in 13 days and before you know it we will all be bundled up in sweaters, drinking warm drinks and watching the leaves fall. But before we get to that point, I think we better discuss what’s coming up in home design and what will be trending for this season!
August has been a month for shopping, finding new inspiration and soaking up the summertime goodness. It’s almost hard to believe that August and the summer is coming to a slow close and soon enough we will be welcoming fall with open arms.
Lately, I have been finding my eyes wandering as we drive through our neighborhood streets for lost and unloved furniture that is need of a good home. I never used to look or even consider these items because we never had the space to give them a home, but now that we do… well it’s been a new DIY adventure and I’m loving it.
