Welcome to the sixth post in the wedding week series here on West 5th! We’ve been covering everything from our ceremony to the reception and last week we talked details. This week is all about our favorite moments from the big day and I can’t wait to share those with you. Visit here to get caught up on our past posts.
I have a super exciting announcement for West 5th and it’s something I have been excited to share for a long time: our wedding! If you’ve done some reading, you’ll notice I touch on small parts of our wedding planning process and have written some wedding how to’s such as this and this, but for the first time ever I’ll be featuring our full wedding on the blog for an entire two weeks!
Has anyone else noticed that the mason jar “craze” never really came to an end? A few years back, mason jars came storming back into the home and kitchen world and never left, which I think is a great thing! I think it came down to the fact that people everywhere realized how great these little or big jars are and decided to embrace them and use them wherever possible!
I know it’s hard to let go of Summer, I’ll be the first to say how much I love the sunshine, the long nights and the warm breeze. However, I know for me that Fall plays a close second to Summer because it brings a lot of great things to the table such as leaves scattered on the ground, cozy sweaters and everything pumpkin spice which is always a huge plus.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll know all about how hard it can be to get rid of items with sentimental meaning. I know after Mr. W and I got married, I had quite a bit of decor to go through and figure out where it was to end up. Most of that decor, was sold which at the end of the wedding and planning process and that was a good move (because who really needs a several just married signs right?). But I did manage to hold on to a few items that I grew attached to over the planning process.
Well, as we get closer to summer I’m starting to notice my summer wishlist is growing. Whether it’s summer related home decor or new shorts, I always seems to have shopping on the brain and I’m always on the look out for great deals. However, Mr. W and I have recently started a bit of a money-saving plan so most of my shopping plans have been put on hold for the time being, but that doesn’t mean I can’t look right? In light of that, I have taken to window shopping the items I’m loving right now and waiting hopefully for a sale to pop up to make these items more budget friendly.
