This past weekend we got our closest friends together and had an adult PJ party. It was complete with onesies, pizza and 90’s Christmas Movies!
Christmas party season has officially begun! We kicked it off this past weekend and threw a cozy party for our closest friends. We pulled out all the stops we could think of: A dress code of pajamas, pizza for dinner and a special viewing of the Santa Claus.
We topped it off with a table full of dessert and a hot chocolate bar…We all went into a bit of a food/sugar coma. The party was not only easy to throw together it let us show our Christmas spirit the best way we know how!
A shot from the front door. For those of you wondering about these fantastic custom Santa Bags, I picked them up over at Etsy.
We made the house as comfortable as possible. The Lovesac was fluffed up, we laid foamies down for those on the floor and made sure to have a ton of blankets and pillows on hand!
As it goes for traditions, this is one of ours. We have collected memorabilia, figurines and other extras over the last few years. Our first year at West 5th, we decided to put it all together. Every year since we create our own version of “Christmas Town” complete with a vintage coca cola truck and trees that light up. Every year is different then the last and we have a great time creating new scenes.
No Christmas party is complete without homemade hot chocolate! I used a super simple slow cooker recipe that worked out amazingly! It made enough for 12 with a little leftover.
Last but not least, we created our own DIY photobooth. I’ll be doing a post on the process itself later in the week. We simply took some (sassy/swear wordy) wrapping paper and stuck it to the wall with decor tape. Add in a few homemade props and it was ready to go. The pictures turned our hilarious and we were able to break in our new camera and create some new memories. As you can see below fun was had by all! Including our guest blogger Jamie (My big sister) and her adorable date/son Noah.
