This past weekend we decided to spend our Sunday updating and overhauling our master bath. We are coming up on one year at West 5th and we are just now getting around to some problem areas in the house! Time moves fast when you’re having fun I guess, but now it’s time to get down to business and get things done before winter hits.
Vancouver got a real dose of summer this weekend, with temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees! We managed to find ways to beat the heat and even threw in some project time. That brings me to our newest series of posts at West 5th Love about our newest DIY project: Cat Shelves.
We were busy over at West 5th this weekend as garage sale season is right around corner and preparations have begun for our annual family garage sale (a smaller version of the town circus). In between all boxes and organizing we decided to take on a little unexpected project.
We have a strange theme going on with our move in days. When we moved into our very first apartment it happened to be New Years Day (I seriously don’t suggest it). So following with our theme we moved in to our West 5th house on Halloween, which just so happened to be the only date we could move. I’m hoping this isn’t a continuing trend for us as it just tends to complicate a move even more.
