Busy Pinning

I’ve been a very bad blogger lately but I’m going to go ahead and blame it on the beautiful weather that has been happening in Vancouver and the last couple of crazy weeks at West 5th. While things have been busy I wanted to highlight some of my favorite pins and projects that I have recently discovered!

I am in LOVE with this IKEA hack Trunk Bar. Basically, it is made up of two standard IKEA bookshelves and some extras on the outside to have it resemble a leather trunk. If we hadn’t just bought a wine rack for our dining room, this would be my next project! Check it out at IKEA Hackers (Photo Via)
Looking through my photos on my computer I decided that it was time to get organized . I have too many files of random pictures with no dates or really any idea where they were taken, so I have decided to do something about it! I came across this great tutorial on how to make family yearbooks for each year of pictures. It gives you a really simple step by step instruction guide on how to display your pictures within these great keepsake books and create years memories for everyone to see. With gardening season just around the corner and my decorating inspiration running high, I am excited to dive into this new book Bring The Outdoors In by Shane Powers! I really dig the idea of finding natural items right from our backyard and using them to decorate the home.

Stayed tuned for more regular posts and inspiration!
